A green destination par excellence, Rouen and the Seine Valley have over 500km of footpaths to offer you throughout the area.

Hike in the Normandy

Urban strolls and nature walks will help you discover all the wealth of the heart of Normandy. Panoramas, tourist curiosities and unobstructed views, the Fruits Trail, city walks, towpaths, the Camino de Santiago, fitness trails… Many surprises and moments of marvel await you along your walks.

There are also routes accessible on horseback, such as the green trail, that adults and children who love horse-riding can enjoy.

Sports enthusiasts can easily find a suitable match: the city of Rouen has many places ideal for running. In the city centre, on the banks of the Seine or in the Seine Valley, joggers can run in peace and quiet in a green setting or alongside the most famous monuments of Normandy.

In this section we can suggest a range of paths and trails interspersed with signage that can be done in the city or in the countryside, on horseback, on foot or by bike.
